Passer-by pushes 'nuisance' suicide jumper off a bridge...

Summary of news article :A Chinese man, name Chen Fuchao, was push off a bridge by an angry passer-by after his threat to commit suicide held up traffic for five hours, Chinese media reported yesterday. Mr Lai, a retired soldier , made a shocking move after police turned down his offer to persuade Mr Chen to come down. Mr Chen was threatening to commit suicide because of a two million yuan(about $422,700 sg) debt he incurred over a failed construction project. Both men could face charges.

My opinions:What Mr Chen did was selfish as his action violates a lot of pubic interest. He did not dare to kill themselves. He just want to raise the government authorities' attention to their appeal.

What Mr Lai did was wrong as he was confident that he could push Mr Chen down onto the emergency air cushion. But Mr Chen sustained wrist and back injuries because it was only partially inflated.
